How to Build Your First Sales Funnel in Builderall (Step by Step)

May 2026·8 min read·Marketing Starter Hub

A complete beginner's guide to building a sales funnel in Builderall — from choosing your template to connecting your email list and going live.

A sales funnel is the journey a visitor takes from first discovering your offer to becoming a lead or customer. The core insight is that most visitors will not buy on their first visit — but if you capture their email address upfront, you can build a relationship over time and convert them at a significantly higher rate through follow-up sequences.

Builderall is one of the few platforms that bundles everything you need into one subscription: the Cheetah drag-and-drop page builder, built-in email marketing (MailingBoss), and hosting — without needing to connect separate tools like ClickFunnels, Mailchimp, and a hosting provider. This guide walks through every step, from signing up to having your first live funnel.

1

Sign Up and Choose Your Plan

Head to Builderall and create your account. For building funnels, the Core plan ($14.90/mo) covers the Cheetah Builder and MailingBoss for up to 2,000 subscribers and is enough to build and test your first funnel. The Essentials plan ($24.90/mo) unlocks more advanced funnel features and higher subscriber limits — a better starting point if you plan to scale quickly.

2

Navigate to the Cheetah Builder

Once inside the Builderall dashboard, find Builder in the main sidebar and select Cheetah Website Builder. Cheetah is Builderall’s primary drag-and-drop editor and is where you’ll build all your funnel pages.

Cheetah supports multi-step funnel flows natively — you can link a landing page directly to a thank you page and manage the full sequence within a single project, without jumping between separate tools or dashboards.

3

Choose a Funnel Template or Start from Scratch

When you create a new project in Cheetah, you’ll be prompted to either start from a blank canvas or choose from the template library. For your first funnel, start with a template. Builderall includes lead generation templates specifically structured for email capture — the layout, form placement, and page flow are already set up correctly.

Browse the template gallery and choose one that fits your niche or offer type. If nothing fits well, pick the simplest two-page funnel structure (landing page + thank you page) from the blank options. At this stage, funnel structure matters more than visual polish.

4

Customise Your Landing Page

Your landing page has one job: convince the visitor to enter their email address. Keep the structure focused:

  • Headline: A clear value proposition — what will they get, and why does it matter? e.g. "Get the Free 5-Day Email Marketing Crash Course"
  • Sub-headline: One supporting sentence that reinforces the main promise and overcomes the obvious objection
  • Lead capture form: Name and email fields only — every additional field reduces your conversion rate
  • CTA button: Specific and action-oriented — "Send Me the Free Course" outperforms "Submit" every time

In Cheetah, click any element to edit its text or styling. To configure your opt-in form, select the form element and connect it to your MailingBoss list — we’ll set that up in Step 6.

5

Set Up Your Thank You Page

After someone opts in, they should land on a thank you page. This page serves three purposes: it confirms the opt-in was successful, sets expectations for what arrives in their inbox, and optionally introduces a next step — a related free resource, a low-cost offer, or a short welcome video.

For your first funnel, keep it simple: a headline confirming the signup (“You’re in — check your inbox!”), a short paragraph on what to expect, and one clear next action. Create this as a second page inside the same Cheetah project, then set it as the redirect destination for your form submission in the form settings panel.

6

Connect Your Email List in MailingBoss

MailingBoss is Builderall’s built-in email marketing tool — a Mailchimp equivalent that lives directly inside your Builderall dashboard at no extra cost. To connect your landing page form to a list:

  1. Open MailingBoss from the Builderall dashboard sidebar
  2. Create a new list and name it clearly (e.g. "Lead Magnet — Email Course")
  3. Note the list ID from the list settings panel
  4. Back in Cheetah, select your form element — in the settings panel, choose MailingBoss as the integration and select your list
  5. In MailingBoss, create a welcome automation triggered by new subscribers joining this list — even a single welcome email dramatically improves open rates for subsequent sends

This step is what transforms your funnel from a simple opt-in form into an actual lead generation system. Every new subscriber is automatically added to your list and enters whatever email sequence you have set up.

7

Test and Go Live

Before publishing, test the entire funnel end to end using your own email address:

  • Submit a test entry using your own email address
  • Confirm the redirect to the thank you page fires correctly
  • Verify the test submission appears in your MailingBoss list
  • Check your inbox for the welcome email — and check the spam folder
  • Preview both pages on a mobile device; most traffic arrives on phones

Once everything checks out, publish the project in Cheetah. You can use the free Builderall subdomain immediately, or connect a custom domain from your project settings for a more professional appearance.

Building your first sales funnel in Builderall takes less time than most beginners expect — especially compared to stitching together separate tools for pages, email, and hosting.
